Mather Studios is a former Downtown DC office building that was converted to residential use in 2004.  The original building was constructed in 1917, but now offers an historic setting for condominium residences and an event space and gallery. Located in Penn Quarter, the 10-story structure features 50 market-rate lofts as well as 12 affordable artist studios located on the second and third floors, home to many prominent individuals in the city’s art scene. The sophisticated lobby of Mather Studios features custom artwork, granite flooring and designer lighting, setting the stage for the sleek, modern interiors of the residential units above.

Located on G Street between 9th and 10th Street in Chinatown, Mather Studios are within walking distance of the Metro Center and Gallery Place Metro Stations as well as a wealth of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.  The venue is also within just a short walk of the Smithsonian, as well as the Capitol One Arena, and are just three blocks away from the National Mall.
